New
RAOTA 50 Certificate
for working 50 RAOTA members
A
number of members have expressed an interest in the certificate awarded
for working 50 members of RAOTA. In view of this, the committee has decided
to issue a new certificate and also to clarify the conditions for obtaining
it.
The
new certificate is shown on the right. The actual size is A5 landscape
and makes an attractive display. A certificate is also available for 75
or 100 contacts.
Certificates
will be issued free, on trust, to members of RAOTA on submission of a
log showing Callsigns, QSO Dates, Reports, and Membership numbers exchanged.
- Contact
must be made with at least 50 members of RAOTA.
- Logs
may be back dated.
- All
modes and bands may be used.
- Contacts
with another member only count once.
- Contacts
may be made during a Net at the discretion of the net controller.
Each contact must be individual between the two stations.
The
award is available to non-members, but the log must be counter-signed
by a RAOTA member. A fee of £2 in stamps must be enclosed when submitting
the log.
