New RAOTA 50 Certificate for working 50 RAOTA members

Image of RAOTA 50 AwardA number of members have expressed an interest in the certificate awarded for working 50 members of RAOTA. In view of this, the committee has decided to issue a new certificate and also to clarify the conditions for obtaining it.

The new certificate is shown on the right. The actual size is A5 landscape and makes an attractive display. A certificate is also available for 75 or 100 contacts.

Certificates will be issued free, on trust, to members of RAOTA on submission of a log showing Callsigns, QSO Dates, Reports, and Membership numbers exchanged.

  • Contact must be made with at least 50 members of RAOTA.
  • Logs may be back dated.
  • All modes and bands may be used.
  • Contacts with another member only count once.
  • Contacts may be made during a Net at the discretion of the net controller. Each contact must be individual between the two stations.

The award is available to non-members, but the log must be counter-signed by a RAOTA member. A fee of £2 in stamps must be enclosed when submitting the log.

Logs to be submitted to Eric (G3KPU) for checking. By post to...
Mr E.H.Prince, "Cubert", Bawtry Road, Hatfield Woodhouse, Doncaster, South Yorks, DN7 6PQ

An up to date list of currently registered callsigns & numbers of RAOTA members is available (to RAOTA Members) from the Editor by sending an A5 addressed envelope and £1.50 in stamps. Mark the envelope "membership list" on rear. No correspondence will be entered into.

Alternatively a PDF version is available by email request from the Website Manager, via the link on the CONTACTS page. No charge is made for the PDF version, which is updated to include all current members on the release date of each issue of OTNews. The PDF list is sorted in callsign order.
